What this site collects

Nothing. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and uses no analytics or tracking. Your browser's display settings (light or dark mode, reduced motion, screen size, whether the tab is visible) and basic performance hints (processor cores, memory, data saver) are read only on your device, to lay out the page and decide whether to play animations. They are never stored or sent.

Hosting

Cloudflare, Inc. delivers and protects this site on my behalf. To do that it processes the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. I don't receive or see these details. Cloudflare may process them in the United States and elsewhere, with the safeguards set out in Cloudflare's data processing terms (including standard contractual clauses), and keeps them according to its privacy policy. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in keeping this site available and secure.

If you email me

I use your email address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as the conversation needs. My email provider is Google. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to or restrict its use, by emailing me. I will respond to requests within one month and acknowledge complaints within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK regulator at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.

You don't need to give any information to use this site, and no decisions are made about you automatically. Because nothing is tracked, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals change nothing here. This site is not directed at children. If this policy changes, I will update this page and its date.
